Guests and Families in 2nd Room Stay at Half Price

As a gift to our Families we are offering guests staying at Family House during November, December and January a second room at half price. Double rooms are $50, a second double room is $25; suites are $60, a second suite is $30 -- this special rate does not include single rooms. This rate is good for one week at a time and valid only while rooms are available. We will include this offer on weekend stays throughout the 2010 year on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings. To receive this offer, Guests should make a second room request directly through their house manager.

Day Rooms Available at University Place

Day rooms are now available at Family House University Place at 123 University Way and Fifth Avenue at the University Club in Oakland. Guest Rooms are available for up to 8 hours and are priced as a $20 donation. A welcoming group of volunteers, guests and staff welcome all guests who need the comfort or support of those who understand their stress.
Families and patients are able to take a nap or shower in a private room and during their stay or visit – guests have full use of our 8th floor at Family House University Place facilities including:

A large kitchen – complete with dishes, pots & pans, utensils and cooking pantry
Laundry room
Library and computer work room
Free wireless internet access
Exercise room
Family and Living Rooms with TVs and Games

Handicapped accessible rooms, bathrooms and an elevator for accessibility are also available.
