Family House Facilities

NOTE: Family House University Place, our newest location, is now available for occupancy. It provides patients and families with 48 additional guest rooms and is our flagship location. Family House University Place is located in the heart of Oakland and is within walking distance to many UPMC hospitals.

Guests may stay at one of our four locations: Family House McKee, Family House Neville, Family House Shadyside or Family House University Place. Each location features graciously appointed bedrooms, private baths, and comfortable living areas (a total of 163 private guest rooms), including a fully equipped kitchen for guests to prepare home-cooked meals, all at rates that are far less expensive than other mainstream accommodations.

Most importantly, Family House offers a chance to comfort and be comforted. It is indeed a home away from home.
