Community Breadbox Please stop by your favorite Panera store for breakfast, lunch or dinner and be sure to participate in The Community Breadbox program. All contributions during the month of August and September will be donated to Family House. Last month, more than $3,000 was raised to help the thousands of families we serve each year.
Day-End Dough-Nation Each Tuesday, all of the four Family House locations receive a wonderful treat. Through the Day-End Dough-Nation program, unsold bakery products are packaged at the end of the day and donated to Family House. In 2008, Panera Bread bakery-cafes collectively donated a retail value of more than $50 million worth of bread and baked goods to charitable organizations, helping to address the need for food distribution in our local communities. Our guests enjoy the wonderful selection of treats, and we are grateful for Panera’s ongoing support!
Dough-nations to Community Events Panera is also a valuable corporate partner and regularly makes in-kind donations to Family House events. Last year, Panera donated to many of our events, including to the opening of our 4th house - Family House University Place, Polotini, Polo Match and the Family House Gifting Gala, as well as other programs and events held on our behalf. Last year alone, more than $2,000 worth of lunches, pastries, bagels, cookies, fruit salads and coffee were donated to our events.
